Dennis C. Tucker es el Director de Tucker and Associates Library Consulting Services. Anteriormente fue Director de Recursos de Aprendizaje en Modesto Junior College en Modesto, California, y Director de Bibliotecas en Northwestern State University of Louisiana en Natchitoches.

El Dr. Tucker ha desempeñado diversos puestos en bibliotecas públicas, académicas y escolares como referencista, coordinador de publicaciones periódicas, y director. Ha trabajado en la University of Notre Dame, Indiana University en South Bend, y fue director de la biblioteca del Bethel College en Mishawaka, Indiana.

Dennis C. Tucker is a library consultant with his own company, Tucker and Associates. He was previously Director of Learning Resources at Modesto Junior College in California and Director of Libraries at Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches.

His experience includes service in school, public, and academic libraries in various positions ranging from serials librarian and reference librarian to director. He worked at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana University at South Bend, and was Library Director at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana.

He frequently teaches workshops and makes presentations at state, national, and international conferences. He also teaches workshops on grant writing, long-range planning, technology planning, technology training, basic skills for paraprofessional staff, and library relocations.

He is author of many books, reviews, and articles, including a time as monthly columnist for American Libraries. His most recent monographs are Library Relocations and Collection Shifts (Information Today, 1999), Research Techniques for Scholars and Students in Religion and Theology (Information Today, 2000), and Pathways to Nursing: A Guide to Library and Online Research in Nursing and Allied Health (Information Today, 2004).
